Crossroads
Village
Crossroads Village was originally acquired in late 2020 during Homekey 1. Crossroads Village served as a transitional housing site for 2 years before being vacated to undergo a second phase of rehab.
This second rehab phase will provide a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with 143 permanent housing units created overall. Crossroads Village will also have indoor and outdoor community spaces, including a playground, pool, dog run, and picnic area. The units will be made affordable through operating subsidies provided by the Fresno County Department of Social Services and services will be offered on site by Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health.
The conversion from interim to permanent housing will be financed through a number of state and local funding sources including No Place Like Home and Fresno County Capital Funds.. The project has strong local support and is a partnership between RH Community Builders, Fresno County, non-profit corporation Housing on Merit, and UPholdings.
